Good things to know.
Can I meet a cat before adopting?
Yes. Cats live in foster homes, so meet-and-greets are arranged by appointment and depend on the foster family's availability.
What if my cat needs time to adjust?
That is normal. Lambton Cat Rescue provides post-adoption guidance on safe spaces, introductions, behaviour and helping your cat settle in.
Does applying guarantee an adoption?
No. The team considers the needs of each cat and the fit with each household. A cat may also receive several applications at once.
Can I surrender my cat?
Owner surrenders are currently paused because foster space is limited. Please contact the team for current guidance and other local resources.
